Microneedling with Rejuvapen

Microneedling is one of the most effective and reliable skin treatments on the market.

As a treatment it has been used for many years now by Rejuvapen to reduce lines and wrinkles, dull complexions, acne scarring, stretch marks, scars and pigmentation on both the face and body.

As a greater understanding of collagen renewal promoted by our own natural healing response is delivered, treatments such as micro needling, collagen therapy and radio frequency are gaining greater popularity.

 

What does a Microneedling treatment involve?

The Rejuvapen microneedling system contains 9 precisely spaced micro-needles that pierce the skin with the needles having a range of 0.2mm - 2.5mm This  instigates the healing response that ultimately smooths and heals the skin.

The skin becomes firmer and circulation is stimulated and the pores refine, this leads to a dramatic improvement in acne scarring, stretch marks, scars, pigmentation and sagging of the skin.

Before the treatment commences a numbing cream will be applied to the skin along with a hydrating serum.

The serum that is placed onto the skin will be absorbed into the tissues by means of the microscopic holes made in the skin by the Rejuvapen micro needling system.

This will allow for optimum treatment results and quicker healing times.

The recovery period for the Microneedling is in between 1-7 days and in the first instance your skin will be red, tight and warm having an appearance of mild sunburn.

This will subside during the first 24 - 48 hours. During the healing period you will be required to use the correct after care given to you by ourselves.
